KENNEDY ELISABETH DOMÍNGUEZ. Kennedy is a sophomore in high school; she turns seventeen sometime during the first week in December (you get to pick the exact day). She is a lot like her mother. She tends to be very much to herself, and she uses music to express her emotions. She and her friends have a small band (you get to pick the name), and they usually practice in the garage at the Domínguez household. Kennedy plays electric guitar and drums, mostly, but she can also play acoustic guitar and sing. She plays a sport (you pick, just not cheerleading). She has a unique sense of style: she likes to wear men’s flannel shirts. She got into the habit of wearing her father’s flannel shirts after he died. [Everything else is entirely up to you. FIRST MIDDLE LAST This guy is María’s current boyfriend. They have been dating for about three months know, but they’ve known each other since she came to Maine and started teaching. He’s a teacher, too (you get to choose the subject). He’s between the ages of forty-five and sixty-five (you get to choose the exact age). He is very patient with María, and he understands why she still wears the rings her husband gave her and understands that she’ll always love him even though Emilio is dead. Sometimes it hurts his feeling, but he tries not to let it show. He knows how to cheer her up and make her laugh; he has a great sense of humor. [Everything else is entirely up to you.
